Another coupon excursion!

The fresh produce, meat, deli meats, and frozen pizzas have been put away and are not in these photos.
Retail Cost for this trip $343.26
My cost $160.47
A savings of 53%

Favorite buy this week! Extra Laundry Detergent
Regularly priced at $3.56
On sale for $1.88
$1.00/2 coupon made my cost $1.38 each
A savings of 62% on each
As you can see I bought 10. (I had 10 of the same coupon.) This is a good example of leveling the cost. The real beauty of couponing is to lower spending not just on one week or one month but on the annual shopping bill.

Snapple. My husband loves Snapple but it Is rarely on my shopping list because it's expensive and I am cheap. The reality is that he likes them in his lunch and he'll pick them up at the gas station or a vending machine if I don't supply them.
Retail price $5.88/pack
On sale 2/$10
I have a coupon for $1.00 off/ pack bringing it to $4.00/pack Ad this week is one free 64 oz (retail value $3.18) with every 2 pack purchase.
Total for my Snapple - retail $44.82
My cost $14.46 each Snapple Pack or 40 cents.

Cereal. When I purchase cereal I usually buy the bagged brand. I only purchase cereal if I have good coupons.
(There are 2 boxes of Apple Jacks that fell over:)
Kellogg's Cereal on sale 2/$5.00 $1.00 coupon off each box makes these just $1.50 When you add up the cost per ounce these are cheaper than the bags. It is also pretty close to the Aldi price of around $1.78/box for the off brand.
The real beauty of this deal though is that I also used $2.00 off deli meat when you buy 2 Special K cereals. The key here is to package the meats so that you have a separate package to go with each set of two cereals. $3.00 off milk when you buy 2 Frosted Flakes and $2.00 off produce when you buy 2 Kellogg's cereals. These coupons CAN be combined because they are not saving on the same item.
Cereal Retail was $34.44
With the sale it was $25.00
My cost after coupons $17.50 or $1.75 a box
When you deduct the other $7.00 I saved on the produce and deli the cereal cost was $1.05 for brands/

Tuna Packs retail price $1.73

V8 - this is not your mama's V8. They are a fabulous! (check your sugar allowance)

My cost $2.00
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! I love this deal!

Retail $3.67
On sale 4/$10 or $2.50 each
$1.00 coupons
My cost $1.50
I had 20 coupons AND for every 4 purchased I got $3.00 off the next shopping trip! Making them .75 each
This beats cheap cardboard pizza for summer lunch any day of the week and twice on Sundays!
I didn't go into all the things I purchased this trip and frankly these posts take so long, it's why I don't do them very often. But I also had a $10 off a $50 order. I bought marked down meats and produce on sale. I made 4 trips to the store with my $10 off $50 coupons to save $40.00 off the deal which essentially gave me $40 to spend on meat for free. I live close to the store and do not take children so 4 trips over a day or two is not an issue. I may not work outside the home, but you can believe I make this family some money with coupons. Make no mistake, money saved, is money earned.
